About This Job:

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Chief of Staff to work in Uganda.

Job Summary,

The chief of staff is an executive-level employee who supports the chief executive officer (CEO), chief operating officer (COO), and other top-level executives. A chief of staff typically supervises and communicates with lower-level staff members, providing project management, and implementing strategic planning processes

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the daily operations particularly manpower run smoothly.
  • Serving as liaison between staff, executives, leaders, and CEO regarding company climate
  • Build and develop relationships with all employees of the companies for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, define new operational strategies
  • Relaying information between executive team members and other staff members
  • Attending meetings, providing overall picture of productivity to executives and stakeholders and transmitting information to department heads
  • Develops work schedules and coordinates coverage for leaves and absences of Administrative Assistants.
  • Reviews leave requests, and modified works schedules to ensure proper coverage prior to the Director's approval.
  • Providing data analysis and metrics of the company’s productivity to the executive team and suggesting initiatives to improve workflow, teamwork, and budget management
  • Working on everyday action items that the executive team members do not have time to carry out such as working with department leaders on project coordination and business administration.
  • Assisting the CEO with scheduling to make most of CEO’s limited time and providing workable solutions.
  • Communicating pertinent details to executive team and board members

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree - Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Masters Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an managerial or leadership position (Human Resources), Project management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence and diplomacy
  • Highly Organized
  • Energetic with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly boost morale and encourage employees
  • Internal Brand ambassador for SUL values
